Pavel has shown dedication to the Local Guides program for years, focusing on multiple topics to support his local community and raise awareness about important issues.

He stands out for his commitment to using Google Maps as an educational tool and also his work with women's empowerment. In 2021 alone, he's written multiple Connect posts on this topic including Menstrual Hygiene Day and Local Guides' responsibilities in making the world more accessible for girls and women.

"Together, we can end period stigma and empower girls and women," he said. "We are trying to remove this prohibition by adding information on Google Maps, from adding places where girls can buy sanitary napkins to campaigning using tools like education and community reach-outs."

Beyond his impressive work within the Local Guides program, he was invited to attend the United Nations General Assembly 2019 as a Global Youth Ambassador. His dedication to helping others is evident in everything he does, on Google Maps and off.
