Where are some places to eat in Boston that are hidden gems?

Hi everyone!

I will be in the Boston area to visit some of my relatives during my spring break in March and wondering what are some lesser-known restaurants I can eat it that won't break the bank (preferably less than 40 dollars a person)? I really like any type of food but definitely want to have some seafood at some point

If you like Italian Food, a very reasonable option in the North End of Boston (Italian neighborhood) is Bella Vista. The negative reviews are mostly because the owner is old school Italian and a little grumpy, but he is a great guy and will go out of his way to make sure you and your party get everything you need. The food is amazing, totally fresh.

When are you going to be in Boston? Have some tips, but if you've come and gone....

If you are a fan of ramen, you'll get some great bang for your buck at 2 places in town (both in Allston) Toto Ramen and Pikaichi. Near Toto is Lone Star Taco which has the best mezcal selection in town and GREAT Mexican street food. Very affordable.
