in my city, Makassar, Pete-pete's most popular vehicle. Pete-pete is the local name for City Transport, commonly called AngKot (short for "Angkutan Kota" or City Transport). This is a public vehicle carrying up to 10 passengers at flat rates either long distance or near. Easy to recognize in uniform blue, with colored marks on the sides as route markers.

In it, drivers are usually creative with various accessories, including music and LED TVs that play karaoke or football matches

In addition there is also Bentor (stands for "Becak bermotor"  or motorized Becak). Becak is a three-wheeled vehicle, and Bentor is Becak that is motorized with a modified motorcycle with the driver in the back. This transport. This carriage can contain two or three passengers (depending on the size of the passenger body) at a rate based on the deal through a bargain.

Referring to the passenger's position and it's speed, the vehicle is actually unsafe and has problems in licensing, but they are still allowed to operate.

The existence of this means of transportation also displaces traditional becak which is still driven by human power

but all of these transport vehicles are declining and users are dwindling, along with the growth of mobile-based transport systems, where transport users can book rental cars at light rates through their mobile phones
