There are a lot of cool places to go when traveling, but if you need a break from the snow, Come on down south to good ole' Louisiana. So if I have convinced you to come down here, then here are some things you should really consider doing and seeing.
1. Visit old plantations.
It may sound a bit boring at first, but when you actually push yourself to go see one, you can learn and experience what they did and how they lived. Also, don't worry about not finding one... We have lots of them!!!
2. Food, Food, FOOD!!!
Try the food!! It's amazing! Louisiana has a lot of great seafood restaurants. And if you happen to go to one be sure you order the seafood gumbo!
3. Go fishing.
Louisiana is one of the best fishing spots. We've got bass, catfish, brim, and a lot more.
