Curious to see if anyone has any Leeds tips for new comers to the city that may not know anyone? Where might be some good local hangouts/cafes that are chilled for solo travelers?

SolutionHi you probably won't get much response to this kind of question on Local Guides Connect. Could I suggest that a better approach would be to use Maps and seek out the cafes then check their reviews.
Here is an example list https://www.google.com.au/maps/search/cafe+near+Leeds/@53.8059412,-1.6062861,12z/data=!3m1!4b1?hl=en... get this list, all I did was open Maps and type "cafe, leeds" into the search box and this is what it came up with. I did notice there are other similar entries that might be worth exploring too. You can click on each one and see where it is, see what the cafe looks like from outside (and perhaps inside if someone has put up images) and probably see reviews from current (or even ex) customers.
