Salasel Castle

Salasel Castle is a very large fortress with numerous arched yards and barracks and stables and baths and shelters, towers and gardens, and kitchens and large basements, fences and dikes.
  This castle, along with 15 other historical monuments of Shushtar, was presented at the Annual Meeting of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee on June 26, 2009 in Seville, Spain, with the criteria 1, 2 and 5 as the Shoshtar Historical Hydro System as the tenth work of Iran on the UNESCO World Heritage List. No. 1315 was registered.
