Netrokona birisiri, A trip To Remember

 In 2016 I went to Netrokona district of Bangladesh and it was my first-time visit there.  I went with my friend saidul and we had this plan weeks ago and we started our journey from Dhaka. we took the bus from mohakhali to netrokona and we did not have any ideas about roads in that area and that time I did not start using Google maps either so we had no idea about that area so after we reached in netrokona we discovered we have to go with a motorcycle ride to reach in birisiri because of the road was badly damaged and there was no other option to  travel with so we rent a bike with local driver and luckily he was good and drive carefully on that scary road and the best part of that journey was the night time bike riding and for reaching birisiri we have to cross a river with a boat too and after that we reached there and stayed in a hotel and from the next day morning we started exploring the netrokona birisiri, it was really nice place to visit because it is a place of mountains, river and lots of natural beauty around the whole area. We also rent a small boat to cross another river to see the nature of that place.  And after one day we get back to Dhaka by train because we knew about the road. So my advice would be for anyone who wants to visit make your plan according to that travel route road, hotel, and security. Here are some pictures of the birsisiri journey. 

 

Winter season is the best time to visit birisiri, and you should bring heavy shoes like keds for mountains and an umbrella for the rainy season.

Can you add more details to your experience, in order to prepare other people in case they want to do the same path? Which season is the best to do it? What is the kind of equipment that you advise to bring?
