Bistoun Bridge

Bridge Bistoun, also known as Pole Kohneh (Old Bridge), is known as the Pole Shah (Bridge of the King), is a bridge and an instrument related to the Safavid era, located in the eastern part of the city of Bistoun. This work was registered on February 5, 1961 with the registration number 765 as one of the national works of Iran.

Bistoun bridge is 144 meters long and 7/60 meters wide. This bridge has five craters. The foundation of the bridge is made of gypsum and mortar. Shaped bases with cubic rectangular rocks and built the inner parts of the bases with rubble, rock carvings and gypsum plaster. The bridges of the bridge are made of bricks made of gypsum plaster and the bridge of Bistoun, made of gritty rubble and gypsum plaster.
