Hey guys, I'll be travelling to Seoul for a week in March, and I was wandering if I could get some suggestions or connect with some LGs.
I would looove some general suggestions about where to go eat and museums and things, but since I'm there for research too, I'd love some insight about retail. Any up-and-coming fashion shops, concept stores, trendy spots and neighbourhoods? It's my first time there so honestly I have no idea how to begin planning.
Thank you so much in advance.

Hi Karen,
For enjoying Seoul, I would recommend you the Buckheon Hanok Village. And try some Palace too.
For fun, go to Gangnam for a big neon-party area (restaurants, bars, club), or the more 'underground' Hongdae. More trendy, full of bars and clubs, designers shops, arts schools etc.
For your research, going to Dongdaemun textile market is a must. Beside that, Hongdae is a pretty good fashionista area. And don't miss Itaewon, the most 'foreign friendly' area in Seoul.
About museums: Daerim Musum, Museum of Contemporary Art, Leesang museum...Korea History Museum too is good. And Contemporary History Museum is pretty recent too. National Museum Of Korea is the bigges. And folk museum inside Gyeonbokkung Palace is also pretty big.
Good luck!
