48 Hours in Amsterdam

Hey guys,

this weekend i'd like to travel to Amsterdam with my girlfriend. I'm wondering what to do in Amsterdam for two days.

How would you pack the most of Amsterdam into two days?

Re: 48 Hours in Amsterdam

Never tried it, as I use the Museumkaart (only for locals!)
The I Amsterdam city card is worth the price though, as you can visit for free many amazing museums in Amsterdam, if I was you I would directly go to EYE museum, Stedelijk museum, Hortus Botanicus botanical gardens (my favorite), FOAM photography museum, ARTIS micropia, etc ... so many choices!!

Here is a map with everything included in the I Amsterdam card

If you have a car, use the P+R services http://www.iamsterdam.com/en/visiting/plan-your-trip/getting-around/parking/park-and-ride

Hey there!
The best for you two would be to rent bicycles and move around! All the neighborhoods are worth a look, and the city is small so two days will be enough to see most of it.

I advise this company which has discrete bicycles, a friendly staff and a luggage depot next to it: discountbikerental.nl )

Cycle through the beautiful Vondelpark, in De Pijp, the Jordaan, jump in the free ferry (still with your bicycles!) behind Centraal station to NDSM.

About the drone law, here is a map with the nofly zones: drone-nieuws.nl/noflyzone

Wow, thanks a lot for your quick reply.

To rent a bike is a fantastic idea, especially with this horrible parking situation in big cities.

What do you think about the amsterdam city card?
