Re: Tree-a-holics?

@FaridTDF Thank you - i know now about a new tree, the lenga. 100 years is an impressive age. Are there any new, baby, trees growing? Does anyone know where the very oldest of these trees may be?

Here in the US we have a national park called Redwood. I have never yet visited there, but some of those trees may be at least 500 years old or more. I cannot imagine trees older in age than New York City! I hope to visit in May and will take some photos then.

Re: Tree-a-holics?

Ahh I just read that you say these are only 45 years old trees. Still, wow 🙂

@Myrathor this is a very wise old oak tree, I think 🙂 He is rather admirable. He wears his age very well. I can only imagine how he looks in the spring in his full leaf.

Re: Tree-a-holics?

@ErmesT I wonder how a 900 year old tree might describe some of the human history it has witnessed. I wonder if anyone stood in the shadow of this particular tree and whispered secrets or talked about politics or debated prices of trade goods.

@ErmesT Poplar trees.....I did not know these could stand along a path. I want to see them in full leaf! Better, I want to walk along this path.
