@Myrathor The linden is the Czech national tree? Wow. We have linden trees in the US.
In fact we have the Littleleaf linden tree, tilia cordata, right where I live. I don't have a photo right now but I will take one later this week. Of course, it being winter, the trees have no leaves but I will take a summer photo to show their leaves.
We have a nice variety of trees where my apartment is. We have hawthorne trees, flowering cherry, honey locust (Gleditsia triacanthos). I have more trees to take photos, but they will need comparisons for the spring and summer when they are glorious in their leaves and flowers.

Here are photos of a large banyan tree that sits in the center of the city of Lahaina, in Maui Hawaii.
I took these photos last October 2016.
These are three photos of one very large banyan tree.
I don't think my map link works the way you all do it, but I hope it gives an idea.

@MarieP On the Slavonic Congress in Prague in 1848, where he became a linden tree Slavs officially. Since then their national tree regarded Czechs.

Hi @MarieP, it is a rowan-tree, is not edible.

@ErmesT I know of the rowan tree but have never seen one close. It is lovely.
