Tour of the Giant Mountains ridge. Part 1.
The first part of our journey leads from Pomezní chalet. The path leads along the blue trail to the height of the Rock point table. Elevation is 387 meters. Table rock is at an altitude of 1,275 meters above sea level. There is a nice view of the region. Furthermore, we will meet to Jelenka chalet. Here is a crossroads of tourist routes. The path leads all the time on the border of the Czech Republic and Poland. From chalet Jelenka road continues, to the Svorová mountain 1,411 meters above sea level. From there the route continues on the highest mountain in the Czech Republic Sněžka 1603 m above sea level. On Sněžka permanently as a weather station. The oldest building on the Snezka in the Giant Mountains is 14 m tall rotunda chapel. Lawrence. The new chapel was consecrated on August 10, 1681.

Nice trail, @MIroslavK, very interesting. I like also to collect cranberries, but I prefer mushroom. Which month it was? I saw the temperature on the top was 5 °C.
This october I went on the alps, in Cadore area, to collect mushroom, and the temperature at 1800 meters was 18 °C

@ermest It was in August. Latest week. We go here regularly at the end of the summer. And we like gathering mushrooms. In this area too mushrooms not grow. So kids gather cranberries and blueberries. On Sněžka weather is very unstable.

This is amazing! I can't imagine how much energy would I need to make a tour like yours and the fact that you had time to capture good moments out of it is priceless. I appreciate your contribution with us, looks like a place that I must visit, greetings from Mexico!

The second part of the journey begins on Sněžka. The path leads through Upa peat bog. Small break Luční chalet. Here operates a small brewery. Of Luční chalet, leading the way to the mountain lakes. The path leads Poland. In good weather, stunning views of the Sněžka. Along the way the trail is a wonderful view down the valley to the mountain lakes. From the lakes path leads to a rock formation Slunečník. The entire trail is called 'Path Czech Polish friendship " The second part will finish at the chalet Špindlerovka. The second part is 10 km long.

Grazie @MIroslavK, anche la seconda parte è veramente molto bella. Quello che mi colpisce molto è l'altezza dei pali accanto al sentiero, che mi fa pensare che la neve adesso sia altissima.

The third part of the journey begins on chalet Špindlerovka. There is a large tourist crossroads. The journey continues along the mountain ridge Silver.
