This history is 500 years ago. From 1519 to 1532, Chuti Khan was the governor of the northern part of Chittagong of Bangladesh. His father Poragal Khan was the army chief and provincial governor of Chittagong during the Husain Shahi era. And his grandfather Rasti Khan was the ruler of Chittagong during the reign of Sultan Rukanuddin Barbak Shah (1459-1474).
To introduce Chuti Khan more clearly, then it will be the story of his war-life. He was an expert ruler and a brave warrior. King of Tripura Raja Dhannamanikka saved power in 1513 and 1515 and attacked Chittagong twice. During this time, Chuti Khan defeated Tripura army and defeated it. He occupies a vast part of Tripura state.
Chuti Khan's intimate relationship with Sultan Nusrat Shah. Although his father Poragal Khan failed to win Tripura, he did that work. For that, Chuti Khan had considerable importance to Hussein Shah.
Chuti Khan was not just a skilled ruler and a brave warrior, His focus was on keeping religion and the advantages-disadvantages of the people. His public works are evidence. On the western side of Dhaka-Chittagong Old Highway on the north side of Zorarganj Bazar of Mirsharai upazila, Chittagong's Chuti Kha Mosque and the largest dighi in the adjoining area carry the memories of Laskar Chuti Khan.
The mosque we see now, It can be known in the study that Chuti Khan's mosque is exactly what it is. Its infrastructure has been last modified, added and deleted at different times. But this mosque carries memories of him.
I have heard that Chuti Kha Mosque lip was built with inscribed stone blocks. The black-colored designs and shapes of the stones are still scattered in the mosque premises. There are many verses written in the scriptures, some verses of the Al-Quran. There are several inscriptions inside the mosque. There is a text of the Aayatul Kursi.
The main design of the Chuti Kha Mosque was broken very early, Which was later rebuilt. Some ruins of the old mosque are preserved as archaeological sites by archaeological department and Chittagong University Museum.
Archaeologists have speculated that the stone and other construction materials were brought from Rajasthan of India or other provinces to build this mosque in the fifteenth century, after seeing the stones and inscriptions used for the construction of the mosque.
Although Chuti Kha Mosque is one of the oldest architectures of the country, but it has not been taken any official action to save it. Due to the regular repair of the construction workers, its main design is being lost.
