What cam did you ordered? Was it the Gear on the Foto. Could you give some more details on your application, on the specs of the cam, the handling and stuff?

I just (pretty blue-eyed) applyed for a Google-Trekker. I really hope to get it for my trip into a nature reserve with some friends for the German NABU. Dunno if that is even possible or if the program is only meant for the Gear, Ricoh, Iris360 and [...]. Push some thumbs for (hopefully) some really unique pictures.

I applied the form and in loan application document: "Under this program, we may offer to lend you a Street View Trekker backpack or a Street View app-compatible 360 camera, depending on availability and what may best match your needs."
"An ideal program participant will commit to either comprehensive coverage of a single site that it knows best..."
The camera is in top of this Post.
In loan period, I used the Street View App, easy handling. 🙂
Também apliquei este formulário, solicitei para os próximos meses no período de 15 dias, francamente eu não estava acreditando que a Google iria emprestar o equipamento, mas agora que você relatou sua experiência fico empolgado para ser selecionado também.
