Finally, we succeeded to hold the first meet up of Batu Local Guides. There is a lot of fun. We discussed and shared everything about Google Maps and being Local Guides. We had a great time at Omah Sawah Art Of Fadjar Djunaedi, one of the artists from Kota Wisata Batu. In his house, we can find items of antiques which are priceless. We can also find the masterpieces of Fadjar Djunaedi. We are already thinking about the next meet-up.

Congratulations on your first meet-up! Sounds like a good time spent. Any ideas for future meet-ups yet? 🙂

Thank's @JeslynL
We can't wait for next meet-up ;).
There is some tempting option.
My good friend offer a photo walk meet-up at Songgoriti tourist area.
Will be great to be there.
Anyway, can you support us? Our community still did not appear on Local Guides map.
I already complete the community forms as the owner of Batu Local Guides. We also reach basic requirements for supported communities include having a profile photo, a description, at least 50 members (61 members for now), and consistent community activity.

Omah Sawah Art Of Fadjar Djunaedi, means "the house" (omah, jawanese; rumah, indones.) which is located in an area which was previously used as land for wet rice cultivation; sawah (=wet rice field). The house is located at the slopes of the Brantas river and has a wonderful view to the Mt. Arjuno. "Art of Fadjar Djunaedi" is a brand for the art products from Mr. Fadjar Djunaedi, who lives in Batu, East Jawa, Indonesia and who is a well-known artist in Indonesia, documented in the Indonesian National Art Galery. During the Dutch colonial area the town of Batu used to be a recreation area for the Dutch colonial officers. The house of Fadjar Djunaedi and a neighbouring villa from his family is open for visitors who are interested in arts, antiques or who want to spend some recreational time off the beaten tracks but still well connected. Every morning is rewarded with a new and ever exciting view to the proud Mt. Arjuno. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Check it out! Opening hours 07:00 - 21:00 every day.

Thanks for sharing @FranzG. I will merge your post with @br14n's [RECAP] Batu Local Guides: Omah Sawah Art Of Fadjar Djunaedi Map Editing so that fellow Local Guides can get a bit of background about the place while they check out the photos from the meet-up that you attended 🙂
