Neptune's fountain

"Fuente de Neptuno"

The Neptune's fountain of the City of Querétaro is a work of the eighteenth century made by the Celayan Francisco Eduardo Tresguerras, which has under a bow the figure of Neptune, Roman god of waters and seas, with two fish on some waves.

Re: Neptune's fountain

In Madrid there is also another Neptune's fountain! 🙂

Quite famous if you are a soccer fan, because the supporters of Atlético de Madrid, one of the two main teams of the city, always celebrate the triumphs of their team there. The rival team, Real Madrid, celebrates in another fountain, but this one of the goddess Cibeles 🙂

I've seen that! The one in my town is really small, you have a huge plaza compared with this one.

Re: Neptune's fountain

Wow, @LuisHM, It is a nice fountain. In Italy we have many fountains with Neptune, the most famous is in Florence. One, of course, is in the main square of the city named Nettuno, in Lazio region.
