There's a story behind this picture and an epic motorcycle tour that I planned to hit this location at the exact time to capture this sunrise. I navigated the 20-strong convoy to this location exactly on schedule.
As the sun comes down, Chiang Rai fishermen set about their work in the river. During periods when water levels are low, use of a boat is more optional extra than necessary.
A gloomy dusk makes Singapore look like a cyberpunk setting with bright neons and LEDs starkly contrasting the gray.
