How is sunrise and sunset in your city?

We were in the coastal town of Mers-le-Bains, France one summer evening. Between the dark storm clouds and the horizon there was a thin strip of sky. As the sun reached this patch of clear sky, the buildings on the promenade were drenched in the most amazing light. For a few short minutes the scene was transformed  into a magical fairyland.
