Are these flowers or are they just leaves? 😮
Taken at Singapore Botanic Gardens.

hi @JeslynL, just leaves, but beautiful. In Italy we call it "Christmas Star", and we use it as a present during Christmas.
Thanks

Qualcuno dice che per il Valentine day ci vogliono le rose, Nella mia casa i vasi con le rose vengono però abbattuti dai mie coinquilini gatti, per cui abbiamo imparato a trovare soluzioni alternative.

Actually,
there are TONS of flowers with more than 5 petals 🙂 I don't know (actually, I don't think) that 5 petals-flowers are more common than others: I'll found a link for you that lists flowers divided by their petal numbers:
And here a list of flowers with six petals, the ones you were searching for 🙂 Six petals flowers

Actually, every petal of any flower is "just" a modified leaf that surrounds the flower reproductive system 😉
But in this particular case, they have not the usual petal function, so they are "just" red leaves.
