Galawati Kebab, or Galouti Kebab, is a famous and traditional dish of Lucknow city of India. The name literally means "melting kebabs" as they are made of minced meat (along with many spices) and are meant to melt in the mouth... π
The story goes that the Nawab (Viceroy) who ruled this area (Awadh), asked his royal chefs to prepare a dish in which minimum chewing is involved. Thus, these kebabs were invented. They are served with the Indian bread known as 'parattha'. Enjoy..!!
