Are traditional cakes baked in clay pots? 

It's said that foods cooked in traditional clay pots taste different from those cooked in modern metal cookware. In Singapore, clay pot dishes are very popular as they are known to be more fragrant and tasty (I can verify!). The most common clay pot dishes are herbal chicken, braised rice and mixed vegetables. I'm browsing through the photos and I really could use some clay pot dishes right now! 🙂
