Cherry Blossoms Greater Tokyo area

Anyone coming to Tokyo for Cherry Blossom season?

If so, I really recommend a day trip out to Kawagoe in Saitama. It is about 30 minutes from Ikebukuro on the Tobu Tojo line. It is a city well worth seeing, even without cherry blossoms. And in cherry blossom there are some really nice spots. Here is one famous scene, A RIVER OF PINK (photo originally from the official site):

Another nice spot in KAWAGOE is in the famous Kitain Temple, which has a fascinating history and a period house on the grounds houses the only remains of Edo castle. It is a really nice place to enjoy HANAMI which is picnicking under the cherry blossoms. They also have a Cherry blossom festival, with food stalls and some live entertainment.
