This is the place of birth of Guadalmedina river.
Guadalmedina is the biggest river in Malaga,the name comes from arabic wál al-madína, وادي المدينة, wādi l-madina.
This area is known too as "The source of a hundred pipes",because there are 100 pipes by which water comes out of the river's source.
I frequently went to this beautiful area with my little motorbike when I lived in Alcaucin.
