En Argentina, hay unas playas por la costa Atlántica llamado Carilo, sus playas son largas y tranquilas, el agua en esta zona, no es tan cálida, ya que esta bañada por la corriente marina antartica, que viaja hasta las Costa de Brasil, otra característica es que sus aguas, no son tan cristalinas, más bien amarronadas.
