All are welcome to pull fish nets at Galle, Sri Lanka...

This is an old trade in coastal area around the country and it is most popular in the Southern Part of the Sri Lanka. The fishermen will spend a lot of time to lay the nets and pulling it back. Normally it will take 4 - 5 hours. The catch will be sold at the same place. 

This location is just in front of the Southern Expressway Entrance at Galle.

The best thing is anyone can join the pulling of the fish nets. It is popular among tourist in Galle. I took following photographs during my last visit to Galle with my family.
