So after so much asking and asking, we where able to hold a local guides hangout in Abuja. Attendance surprisingly was almost 40 persons. Although the majority where people who just came to understand how to use a google map, however almost all opted to become Local Guides.
The event was hosted at a new tech hub - Aiivon Innovation Hub - in wuse 2 on the popular Ademola adetokunbo crescent. Starting almost 1 hour later than adviced due to internet network challenges. eventually, one of the participants offered to share his hotspot with all participants.
Lasting barely an hour, questions where asked and experiences where shared creating an interesting and interactive session.
