We hope you all enjoyed week three of Eat Like a Local, our celebration of food culture through photography.

This past week’s theme was dessert, so we headed to Paris, the land of macarons and flaky pastries. Sharon Heinrich (aka @parischezsharon) showed us some of the city’s most wonderful places for dessert and taught us useful tips about photography along the way. She also shared some of her best tips—like pretending your dessert is a model—right here on Connect.

And, of course, you shared your own fantastic photos on social using #LocalGuides. We saw colorful cakes, beautiful macarons, and so many other luscious-looking desserts. Here are some of our favorites. Feel free to reply, adding your own.

@HelloSamsonR, it's been a very hard month! Luckily, I have friends who are willing to eat with me.  And we do A LOT of walking later! = )

Hehehe @HelloSamsonR, although I love sharing the photos (and also didn't tag them with #LocalGuides), I'm shy! And in no way am I in the same league as all the other photos that I've seen across the world. They're from a whole different universe it's just massively crazy and it's their magnificent passion they spend so much of their time. I could only wish to aspire for as such.
