just make location on and data of your smart phone and write details as usual you define other places. You can make it as your Home which is visible to your device only. See add real photos instead of posters
As u wants to add your home at google map. So the answer is you can't until your home is any type of service provider (Coaching/PG/Hostel/etc). You can't add your home at google map. Yes, you can save any particular location as our home address. but it'll visible to only to you, not anyone else. I tried that too but couldn't then i read google policies and all and then understood. So keep helping everyone else within your limits and be happy.
