Hi,

I'm the supported moderator for Melbourne Local Guides and a passionate photographer who loves to mentor and teach. One thing we all have in common is that we never stop learning.

This is a 36 walk that I've run previously in Melbourne, Australia.

Registrations to lead a walk are now closed. Thank you everyone, what a wild ride it's been so far.

Note: There are several people who have indicated that you will be leading a walk. The form will stay open until Sunday evening (my time, Saturday most everywhere else).

Regards

Paul

Hi @ThomasHayes I just checked and you've not registered to lead a walk - get in soon if you would like to via https://goo.gl/uaTb7S as I'll be closing the form off this weekend.

Re: Want to improve photography for Maps? The “36” Walk.

A progress update...  I submitted the form - why isn't my meetup on LGC yet?

@JessicaS and I have been working with Meetups to work a little differently. The latest release has let me put in things like temples etc. for meetup points which is awesome, but unfortunately a date/time problem we had a while back which was fixed has regressed in this release. I'm not going to load any new ones until we get this sorted out. In the mean time, if you want to get your meetup onto LGC you can always load it up yourself at https://maps.google.com/localguides/meetup as the time problem will not affect you if you are setting up the meetup from the time zone that you are in yourself. If you do this, please name it YourCity The 36 Walk include the following text at the end of your introduction "Local Guides, Powered By Us, learn your area as you improve your photography and maps. You can find out more about The 36 Walk at https://plus.google.com/+The36AnnualPhotowalk"

If you do this please send me a link to your meetup so I can include it on the g+ page and can add it to the MyMap too.
