Re: Tripod and tool kit

@ProfArunCM Hi,

the first question is: which Kamera you take? a 360 degree Camera like the Samsung need a small single tripod and a DSLR Camera need a tripod to carry abot 2 or 3 Kilo - The second view is the weight of the tripod - in Alu you get a cheep one from Andoer (look at amazon) or you take on in Carbon or Magnesium. When you want to make Panorama shots you need one with a smooth drive.

I have two Tripod one from andoer

and for my samsung gear 360

i have this one:

the best way is going to a shop and test 😉

i hope it helps you to find a right one for you

Re: Tripod and tool kit

Thanks WalterSanders for your great advices and thanks @ProfArunCM for starting this discussion

WalterSanders, I have taken a look at your tripods in the amazon web store:

  1. The Andoer Q666C Pro Carbon Fiber trepied costs around 90€
  2. The Cullmann Magnesit 580ST cost around 25€ with Kugelkopf CB2.7 included (25€ alone) and can stand 12.5 kg

I would like to buy only one tripod, from your experience which one should I buy.

I have a samsung gear (2017) for 360 photo (example of photos for which I wish I had a tripod) : ATM roomentrance of a highchool  and an aging canon EOS 400 D.

I am close to an impulsive purchase ot the Cullmann Magnesit 580ST

Cheers

Re: Tripod and tool kit

Monopods has a massive top, this will block quite a lot.

Look for a microphone boom, they are constructed the other way around, small part up.

Mic-BoomMic-Boom

Top part of this boom is only Ø23mm and has a 1/4" thread. Base has a 3/8" connection.

No editing needed as it's smaller then most bodies of 360° cameras.

Add a mini tripod at bottom for inside shots.

A 1/4" to 3/8" converter can be needed if it's not included.

Outside you need a wider footprint due to wind, photo light stands can be used here.
