Streetview App does not find Tetha RICHO on Android 5.1

Hi, local Google partner borrowed me a RICHO Tetha 360 CAM but the  the Streetview App does not find Tetha RICHO on Android 5.1. Any help?

Any more info? Starting from zero:

- is the wifi of the Theta on?

- did you connect the Android phone to the camera via wifi?

- or what error do you have?

Workaround until problem is solved could be to use theta app on phone and then transfer picture to phone(correct folder) and upload them via google streetview.

This allow you to use the theta fully to it's limits as a bonus.

Thank you all.  The issue was with the wrong app. The initial set-up on my phone was with the latest Theta mobile app which is not compatible with the older Theta Camera.

Older cameras? Is it a Theta M15?

Firmware upgrade might be needed if it's a Theta S

This you can do this from the PC App RICOH THETA.

If you don't have it, it's on the Ricoh webpage and it's free.

Thanks @PatricL I have managed to connect the camera through the app. But now cannot to this camera trough the streeview app. Does streetview app only supports Theta S and SC? I just  have a camera labeled  "Theta", it does not have suffix "SC" or "S". I looked around the Camera and packaging box, there is no suffix or prefix to the the name. Its white in color. I am just wondering if this camera is not supported because the streetview website has listed "Theta S and Theta SC".

Mine is black and only named Theta. As it's black, it's an S

M15 and SC comes in white.

But they can't be that evil and send you an M15.

I guess you have a SC.

Did you install the theta app on your PC and connected via USB?

Latest firmware should be 1.82. Released in november last year I think.

Is there a specific reason why you want to use the Streetview app?

I never use it for my theta. Only use it when there is no POI to connect spheres to.

Otherwise I use google maps for upload and Theta App to capture images with.
