First of all, don't be afraid to experiment. I use a Nikon D3300, and the camera comes with some really cool filters that allow me to capture very unique shots. The HD Paint filter can make a picture of a coat rack look extraordinary! I break all the rules when shooting...I'm self taught and love it. I try all sorts of angles, exposures, and lighting...until that perfect shot emerges!
