How to remove the lag in 360 photos ?

A big problem while taking 360 photos

This makes the photos not suitable for a local guide level...

Any solution for this ?

Re: How to remove the lag in 360 photos ?

The lag(delay) you speak about, is it when you make a sphere you feel this lag.

Is it when you upload sphere you get the lag?

Is it while looking and spinning the sphere you get lag?

Or all of the above?

And why is it not suitable for local guides?

As far as I know you can take a picture ever 8 second(non hdr) with some 360 cameras.

This doesn't even allow you to hide.

I usually make a 10 sphere tour within 10 minutes, including upload and connections, for me that feels pretty fast.

In this 10 minutes it's about 5 minutes of taking spheres photos, 1 minute of uploading spheres. Connection of spheres takes about 1 minute.

Then it takes a while for it to show up in google maps as a tour(average 1h for me), is this the lag you speak about?

This is the time for servers to sync your tour and sometimes server cache need to be refreshed in some cases, will be done within 24h usually.

This often happens if you look at sphere on google maps before connecting it.
