Hi @ValeriaA_!
Gone through your post . Nice. Helpful. Can you suggest me ; if I want to buy smart phone for 360 degree ; do I need one special external gadget for taking photos? Else is there any moderately dependable smart phone for taking 360 degree photos ?
Thanks

Any flagship smartphone (android/iOS) launched after 2015 is pretty good enough to capture 360 photos.
People normally buy 360 cameras for two major reasons:
1. Ease of use, one click shot
2. High resolution quality of 360 photos ( though this is debatable , as I believe 360 photos captured on my iPhone 6s looks much better than the ones taken from Ricoh Theta S camera)
here are some honorable mentions if you wish to invest into gadgets :
1. Madventure 360
2. Xiaomi mijia 360
3. Ricoh Theya V
4. Ricoh Theta S
5. Samsung Gear 360
6. Insta 360
cheers
P.S. The cameras above are all pocket friendly and they fall under 500$ bracket.
Also, they can have a max resolution of 7K (photo stills)

Hi @MONDRITO! Thanks for your interest in this topic.
Some cellphones already have the option in your camera for taking 360 photos. But if it doesn't, you can just download the StreetView app that allows you to take 360 photos with any cellphone that has a gyroscope (nowadays almost every cellphone has it).
I wish you all the best on your 360 photo journey 🙂

Hello @MONDRITO! I've actually never heard of an attachment for Android.
I have a 360 camera which can be connected to my cellphone 🙂
