To celebrate National French Fry Day on July 13, in the United States, the Local Guides team put together a unique photo shoot. Celebrity photos were paired with french fries to give fun "makeovers" to these notable personalities. Different fries for different styles, including: a curly-fried David Luiz (Brazilian footballer for Paris Saint-Germain), a dramatic Whoopi Goldberg (actress and television host), a layered look for Betty White (comedian and actress), a fancy bow for Sia (singer-songwriter), and some sweet potato goodness for Conan O'Brien (television host).
It took a lot of practice and taste testing to create these delectable portraits, but the Local Guides team was up for the challenge. The office smelled like french fries for days, but not too many of us minded as we got to eat the leftovers 🙂 Here are some behind-the-scenes shots of the team working on funny man Conan O'Brien:
For those of you looking to recreate these looks (or just chow down on some fried potatos) a trip to New York may be in order. Fries came from:
