Imagine trying to get around in a world full of distractions and obstacles without being able to see, hear, or walk because you have a disability.

Luis Duran, a Local Guide Level 5, is acutely aware of these challenges in the Dominican Republic—and he’s doing something about it. Through over 700 contributions, Luis adds accessibility information to the map for those around him.

Hi @AliA you have to contribute to google map for grow up.You can upload photo on a plcae ,if that place in a wrong possition then you can edit that place you can also add a new place ,you can review that plca and can answer small questions about  that place. This is how you can be able to upgrade your profile.

that is amazing. My dad is handicap, and we often face difficulty to travel many NY activities like museums and parks once on property. NY makes it easy to arrive to the place, however many places do the bare miminum to make their places handicap accessible. This is a great thing you're doing. It's has kind of inspired to me to do the same now.

Commuter line stations in Jakarta of Indonesia  and cities sourround it such Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi try to improve accessibilities, priority give to person who have disabilities of their sight. In every station the make a special yellow line made of special tiles.

Special because the tiles have a special texture that will lead from enterance to the apron. I give some examples here.

Yellow textured tiles line In ticketing booth at Duren Kalibata Station.

Yellow lines at ticket gates at Cilebut Station.

Yellow lines at apron of Gondangdia Station

Hope it will be improved for person who use wheelchair can access commuter line networks by themself.
