#LetsGuide others!

Googler

There are a million ways to guide. That’s why we’re launching #LetsGuide, a new celebration of the community’s passions. It’s your chance to share what inspires you and to make connections with other Local Guides who share your interests.

LETSGUIDE_CONNECT.pngCaption: An image of people holding colorful groceries and a striking potted plant, overlaid with the text "Someone out there needs a guide like you. #LetsGuide"

To start, here’s a simple question: Who will you guide today?

Maybe you share accessibility info to guide people who use wheelchairs. Maybe you create lists to guide vegetarians to restaurants they’ll love. Maybe you’re into taking photos of places to help families with kids (or pets!) know where to go. If that sounds like you, you’ll love @AnnaDickson's new post about how to spotlight kid-friendly places on Google Maps. It’s the first of many tips posts we’ll be sharing this month to help everyone discover and explore their own unique ways to share knowledge.

We want to hear about the topics, themes, and places that inspire you to guide others. Tell us on social with #LetsGuide, or create a post here on Connect to talk about one of your guiding passions. We’ll be sharing some of our favorite contributions on our channels (including Twitter, Facebook, and Google+).

Hello Friends!

I'm Varghese Jose, a hardcore Google fan of Google since it provided me a learning platform. My passion for Google products made me learn more and more about its products and usage in our daily lives.

Google products made my life much easier. Hence l decided to share my knowledge about them with you, so that you too can brighten up your life using them.

I'm sure you too will be inspired to use Google products in your daily life after l give you a detailed insight about all its products/ usage.

I started using drive and the 15 GB free storage was full .  I learnt about Local guides program to get free storage of 1 TB for 2 years,  then I became passionate of getting badges on Google Local Guides Connect . Gained 37 Badges including Trusted  photographer  . I was listed One among 15 trusted photographers in Kerala and  my name  was published in Google street view hire page

Presentation on What is on your Phone - Google in our daily life

Google Photos I started using Picasa ( Now Google Photos) on my PC which helped me to organise the photos and had the option to upload on web also but due to limited 15 GB only few could be uploaded .

Now it is increased to unlimited storage in high-quality .

I can say Google photo is a treasure in life because i can see my 10 year photos on my phone itself . The Albums with Filter for People , Places , Car  , Etc have made me crazy to use those.

As a Local guide i have now photos of other business . i just take some photo and crop and cut it to have a better look , i usually avoid people faces etc for photos uploaded to map .

I would like to share one of my experience - i had taken a photo of a paper cutting but i need  to get a phone no from that which was taken months before , I searched for paper and i could easily filter from the paper . This was a fine example where i loved this product .

I have stored more than 40000 photos on Google photos .

All your photos are backed up safely, organized and labeled automatically, so you can find them fast, and share .

Photos are Free

Colaborate on Drive

Share real time location on Map

Hey world. Helping others make a great sence in my mind. Where there are so many people specially kids and girls travelling without Prior experiance and easyly ended up in troubles such as creepy beach boys, expensive stuff, fake stuff, sometimes being harassed. So better aware them with my experiance and common sence to be more careful and enjoy there trip to the end without being interrupted. So #letsguide&helpothers. ❤️

One of the sentences in your article @LawrenceNYC reads "Maybe you create lists to guide vegetarians to restaurants they’ll love." Being a vegetarian myself, I always wished that there was such a list out there. But don't think there is any! So here I'm thinking why don't I take an opportunity to create one and guide others :-) Thank you for the inspiration. Love Google always! - Urvi.
