Gobble up Google Maps with Ms. Pac-Man

In celebration of the last day of International Women’s Month and everyone’s favorite prank day, Google unleashed Ms. Pac-Man and her girl power on Google Maps for April Fools’ Day this year. If you missed it, you can click the pink Ms. Pac-Man on the Google Maps for mobile app and it transports you to a game level for you to play Ms. Pac-Man.

Continuing the fun, we curated some of Google’s past April Fools’ pranks. Which have been your favorites over the years? Share them in the comments below.

1) Disco Dancing Pegman - 2016

Pegman, dressed up in new '70s attire and groovy disco dance moves, made an appearance on Google Maps. Get groovy with Pegman as he makes some epic dance moves when you select "Explore Nearby" and tap "Funky Town."

2) Google Keyless Keyboard - 2015

Have a good old party horn? Turn it into a keyless keyboard with Google Japan’s novel gadget that innovates our way of typing through the use of this common party prop. Check out the Google Keyless Keyboard in the video below.

3) Catching Pokémon on Google Maps - 2014
On April Fools’ Day in 2014, Google invited players to catch pokémon inside of the Google Maps app. Check out the video advertising an augmented reality Pokémon game tied into Google Maps. Who knew it would turn into the Pokémon Go craze that we’ve seen in 2016.

4) Google Apps for Business Dogs - 2014
Love dogs? Then you will love Google Apps for Business Dogs. Find out how to get your canine be more productive at work.

5) Gmail Blue - 2013
Monday Blues? It gets better with the introduction of the new all-blue version of Gmail in 2013. The new feature makes all buttons, characters and menus various shades of blue. Was Gmail Blue an April Fool's joke? Take a look at developer Shon Dalezman's Gmail Blue Chrome Extension and then decide.

6) Google Voice for Pets - 2012
Pets are fitted with special Voice Communication Collars that use a series of sensors to record audio directly from your dog or cat’s vocal cords. Use our transcription engine to translate a cat’s meows and dog’s growls to English.
