What will be the correct way to Map underground streets, their Entrances/Exist and any shops inside?
For example the "street", https://goo.gl/maps/QT3eyFDCfmN2
One example of the Entrance/Exit, https://goo.gl/maps/294gRY2GyRJ2
One example of Shop: https://goo.gl/maps/Vnz2MU7eAM82
And Store Front of the above Shop: https://goo.gl/maps/QC4AzhvZDbx
I am asking as I really want to map this underground street properly.
Without a proper solution, the Walking Directions between two points on the Ground is very wrong. https://goo.gl/maps/Loh2D8wSKpQ2

Hello,
Mapping of malls is done by the Indoor Mapping team. To submit a floor plan for their consideration requires that you have the copyright to that plan. It will thus almost certainly require that the mall itself submit the plan to have it mapped.
If you feel you can convince them to do so, I can point you in the correct direction.

Thank you very much @Flash! Your reply re-confirm our believe that Indoor Map is needed.
Last time I checked, Indoor Maps is not yet open for Taiwan.
But we will try to talk to the Management Association.
Before that, what if we skip all the Shops? Can those Exit/Entrances be mapped so that at least a better Walking Directions can be achieved?

No, I'm afraid you cannot map it; it is no different than any other mall. Whether at street level, on the 10th floor, or underground; indoor mapping is not to be done by the public.

I have checked, you are correct, indoor mapping is not yet available in Taiwan. You can watch the following list to see if it is added in the future. https://support.google.com/maps/answer/1685827

Hi @Flash,
One more point and want to see if it makes a difference or not.
That Underground Street opens 24x7x365. It is a major walking passage among the points it connects (underground or ground level Exits/Entrances). Shops are, add ons.
Can that be consider as a underground walkway system and get mapped?

Hi @YK1001
Your first short url is a dead link so I can't tell exactly what you are looking at, but if you are talking about a simple underground walkway then you should be able to add that in MapMaker as a 'Pedestrian / Bicycle underpass'. I think it gets problematic if there are businesses along the underpass as people will want to add those places and then an indoor map has been created by a back door work around, and work arounds are never good.

This is a shopping mall, it should not be entered in that manner.

Thank you @Pea, broken link fixed.
That "Underground Street" system links several Metro Stations, Railway Station, High Speed Railway station, Bus depots together.

Hi @Flash ,
I think you misunderstood what @YK1001's means. Taipei Underground Street is not a shopping mall. It's a underground walk path which connect several public traffic facility like Taipei Railway Station, Taipei HSR, Taipei MRT and the newest Taoyuan Airport MRT. If we could map the underground walk path. I think that will help a lot of people to save time and walk steps when they visit Taipei Main Station .
