New look and feel for Google Maps announced on Google Blog

Great to see advancement of our favourite tools read the blog announcing the new look feel and functionality.

In that Blog post, 

We’ve also updated our color scheme and added new icons to help you quickly identify exactly what kind of point of interest you’re looking at.

Maps is now doing something to use defined color codes and legends to represent elements in Maps.  Great!!!

I captured the "cheat sheet of the new colors and icons" here for easy reference.
