Need help with a duplicate location (petrol station)

For a few days I've added a request to move a petrol station POI from a city to a different one.

The POI in question is:

- https://www.google.ro/maps/place/OMV/@44.2034183,28.6227537,20z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x9a19b3be8ed6a2... (Sos de Centura f nr, Galati 800259)

Right next to it, we can find a duplicate with more reviews:

- https://www.google.ro/maps/place/OMV/@44.2034183,28.6227537,20z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x11c4ceae348227... (Bd. Tomis / Str, Suceava, Constanța 900514)

We need to move the first entry to this location: https://www.google.ro/maps/@45.4168094,28.0053705,78m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=ro - for details about that location we can look up "Sos de Centura f nr" Address  on http://www.omv.ro/portal/01/ro/omv_ro/Home/Statii_de_distributie_carburant/Localizare_statii_OMV -- you will see that it is located in Galati, and has the address listed as first POI from Google Maps, but the coordinates are totally off by about 100 miles.

My question is: should we delete the duplicate from Constanta? It contains the phone number + address of the location in Galati, but it also has photos added by users for the location in Constanta... which in fact should belong to the other POI.

You can tell Google Maps if you see wrong information about a place, like:

• It's permanently closed, moved, or it doesn't exist
• The name is wrong
• The address or marker location is wrong
• The category is wrong (like "clothing store" or "toy store")
• The phone number, website, or hours are wrong

1. Open the Google Maps app .
2. Search for an address or touch and hold a spot on the map to drop a pin.
3. At the bottom, tap the address.
4. Choose Suggest an edit.
5. Follow the instructions.
6. Tap Send .

But my dear i want to mention few things here,

• As both are owned business, you need contact with the owner.
• May be you are owner, but only using the link https://www.google.com/business/ can edit/move these listings.
• Please login on the link mention above edit current details and save.
• If are not owner than plz ask owner about the same.

There is no need to contact owners of businesses in order to edit or report them.  A claim does not restrict public edits.

I assume you are referring to the "Does not exist" option when you ask about deleting a feature.  You should never delete a valid business from the map.  You cannot see the data feeds into each POI and thus you cannot determine what information might be lost if you delete it.

This is the reason for the "A duplicate feature exists" option; this marks it for a Googler to manually check and decide what should be kept, what should be merged into the POI that is kept, and what might be deleted.  Due to this being a manual process there can be a long queue.

You are right to think that perhaps this was located elsewhere (as indicated by the attached photos) and thus should be returned to that location; but without Map Maker we cannot determine if that happened and thus whether a different fix is appropriate.
