NOT APPLIED

I´ve been trying to edit this place https://goo.gl/maps/CSQwpBWenZU2 for weeks now. There is no button to suggest a change. So I try to ADD A MISSING PLACE. However, the response I get is always NOT APPLIED. I need to correct the address. Can anyone help me please?

If the address of the building is wrong, then the best thing you can do is to report an error on the map. For signaling the issue, please follow the steps below:

• On your computer, open Google Maps . Make sure you're signed in.
• In the top left, click the Burger Menu => Send feedback > Edit the map
• Follow the instructions.
• Click Submit.

In here, you'll find a lot of useful information concerning the fact why your edits are Pending or Not Applied. If you need further assistance, I suggest you check the Google Maps & Earth Help forum.

I've tried that before, however every time I follow those steps, the place in question disappears and there is no way for me to select it an report the problem.

The creation of the place seems itself to be done wrongly or in a manner that one can't edit the way you describe.

I´ll try to explain it. The main issue is that a have a place on MAPS that has a wrong address. https://goo.gl/maps/8kuG2GAXhan

 

I need to change the word BOTAFOGO to FLAMANEGO.

The first thing I've tried was goind to ADD A MISSING PLACE and editing the info.

Then I correct the info and SUBMIT it.

I get then a screen asking if I don't mean some place else i choose NONE and SUBMIT ANYWAY. Then I get the NOT APPLIED response.

So I wrote to you and tried your steps. However it happens what I told you. When I try to make changes the place is not show on MAPS.

Hi again!

I´m still having trouble with this place. https://goo.gl/maps/WnjAx2apLb62 It has the wrong address.

I was able to create the correct one. https://goo.gl/maps/nkadwCiaTKH2 But now I have both and the second is mentioned as being IN the first one.

Can you help me, please?

Hello,

If a place exists on the map, you do not fix any issues with it by creating a new place.  Please do not make duplicates on the map.

Please mark the new place as not existing, and then choose the Duplicate option when asked.

Please further explain the address edit you are trying to make?  Is that the city name that you are trying to edit?

I believe you haven´t read all the messages. The place exists (it´s the building I live in) and can´t be edit. I have no idea why. https://goo.gl/maps/jnP5DGDnq822.

Please see if you can edit it and change the word BOTAFOGO for FLAMENGO.
