Missing home at maps

Hi,

I found a missing house of my friend on Google Maps. It is located here:

http://maps.google.com/?q=50.132025,14.236925&hl=sk&gl=sk

Location is near Prague in the village called Středokluky.

At satelite map, there is a house photographed in correct position. But at normal maps, it is not. It is missing between two houses that they are recognised and marker, I suppose, correctly. Missing house have correct adress:

Kladenská 381, 252 68 Středokluky.

This missing home is incorectly overlooked for more than 6 years.

Please is there any change to correct this error?

Btw. I have an actual photo of the house with mne, but I don't know how to upload it and pin it next to that missing adress. It is attached here.

Best wishes

Róbert

Re: Missing home at maps

Hi @Róbert personal info not allowed in Google maps.

Google maps allowed only can add public places and businesses, like a store or restaurant, to the map.

To add a missing place, follow the steps below.

Search for an address
  1. Open the Google Maps app Google Maps.
  2. Search for an address.
  3. At the bottom, tap the address.
  4. Tap Add a missing place.
Drop a pin
  1. Open the Google Maps app Google Maps.
  2. To drop a pin, touch and hold anywhere on the map.
  3. At the bottom, tap the address or "dropped pin."
  4. Tap Add a missing place.

Hey @Róbert,

You can not add a house as POI. I recommend you to please add it as a label. Here are complete details,

Re: Missing home at maps

Hello,

I see that you are asking how to add the polygon for a building onto the map.

Polygon editing was turned off a couple of years ago after massive abuse by users, it would probably be the last of the advanced editing features to be restored as it would require some new method to stop abuse.

Googlers continue to add and edit polygons such as lakes, rivers, parks, city boundaries, etc.  For buildings, however, Google has moved to an automated system where bots analyze imagery and add the polygons.  Updating this area will be a scheduled event; and I'm afraid Google does not share the schedule.  As you can imagine it takes a long time for the bots to analyze every portion of land around the globe so there is a significant period of time between updates of a specific area.
