I was for a long time with contributing mapmaker and chile is no longer available and there are several problems to solve and is still locked, I'm waiting for it to open again; and no date just wait.

Basically, Google do not pre-announce which region will got the Mapmaker program next, so no one will be able to answer you.

@neavilag Earlier this week Google announced that they will be shutting down Map Maker next year so it will not be opening in any new countries now will they be accepting any new Regional Leads. You can make edits to the map via Google Maps, however, including adding new places, editing places, moderating edits, and more.

If the application to RL is closed, how can add new places and correct the mistakes made by armature mappers before whic i understand only RL team can do it?
