Hey guys,
Sorry it might be kind of a dumb question. I find myself wanting to contribute to Google Maps but more often than not the information is already there.
Is there any way to have Google alert me by using my location to notify me when a nearby establishment could use some pictures?
Thanks in advance guys! Any other tips on finding ways to contribute would be greatly appreciated as well! Hopefully I can be contributing more sooner than later!

Hi @KyleT,
Yes, actually, Android Maps can notify if a nearby place do not have photos.
We all know that the first photo of a place usually got lots of views, so it is very handy.
Having said that, personally, I only got two such alerts so far.

Hi Kyle,
Yeah, for sure.
If the place didn't have a photo, you'll received a notification to warn you about that.
(You first need to enable the "Localisation" settings)
If you visit the Contributions tab, you'll also see a bunch of things you can do like ;
