A new high rise is being built in what was until recently a commercial zoned area near the railway. Along with it 2 new hotels and multi-unit residences, these additions will bring upwards of 5000 new users of rail infrastructure daily to the area. Photographing the rise of the structures, the changes as it progresses and the new people will be a project that may take 2-3 years. 
While the district is not historic, the street signs are unique to the area, following a music themed motif for the Queens Jazz legends.
