Please can someone update me about Road editting, I can not edit a new road while I have got the whole map for the city, any reasons>?

There is currently no road editing available in Maps.

Road editing is available in a limited number of countries via Google Map Maker.  Map Maker offers much more advanced editing than Maps, but Google is graduating such editing into Maps.  This means that Map Maker will soon close and more advanced editing features will then be added to Maps.  As a result, road editing will soon be available in Maps, though it might be more basic at first.

If you find that your country is available in Map Maker, the guidelines for editing roads can be found at https://support.google.com/mapmaker/topic/1094314.  We can answer any questions that are not answered there.
