Great question!  Below are the instructions to add a photo to Google Maps:

Add a photo from a place's page

1. Open Google Maps and search for a place.
2. After you've selected a place, click Add a photo. You might have to scroll down to see this.
3. A box will appear. Drag the photo that you’d like to upload, or click Choose photos to upload.

Notes:

• If you're using Maps in Lite mode, you can't add a photo.
• You can only add photos for points of interest, like businesses or parks, but not addresses or coordinates.

Add photos from “Your contributions”

1. Make sure that you have Location History turned on.
2. Open Google Maps.
3. In the top left, click the Menu Your contributions.
4. Under the “Contribute” tab, click Add your photos to Maps. You might not see this option if you haven't taken any photos with your phone or we can't find a location for your photos.
   • To post a photo, click one or more photos.
   • To edit a photo’s location, click the place name and select a different place.
5. At the top, click Post

***Do keep in mind to review the photo policies to make sure you comply with all regulations. The Google Maps team will not approve photos that violate any of their policies.
