Hello everyone...
My customer asking, if I can upload for him the 3d model of hisome showroom to google maps?
I remember in old program (Map Maker) we could do something like this!
Can anyone advice please.

SolutionHi @Rizan_Zinal, this is no longer possible. There used to be crowdsourced option to manually build and upload models but since 2012, Google has been "building" the 3D imagery by automated ways.

Hi @OSAMA this is done with Matterport, but will not upload the model to Google Maps 😉

That's amazing modelling and a level of detail, @OSAMA, thanks for sharing. As you may have noticed however, that model is not going to be part of the public layer either. When we "enter" the model, the public 3D layer is turned off.
As a side note, this is what I've been working on (for our local museum and this exhibition😞

Well, I've been doing 3D modelling for over a decade now. As an archaeologist, most of my interest is in reconstructing archaeological finds. Here's a playlist with all sorts of videos - small, big, "work in progress" and finished:
